reputation. With her wide open cockpit, sleek profile, and luxurious interior, the 40 Express quickly
became of one Tiara most popular models. Upon entering the cabin, it is difficult to believe that you
are actually on a 40-footer. The drop down cabin opens up into a spacious 11' salon lounge with an
open galley to port and wrap around dining lounge to starboard with an extendable table and
removable cushioned stools to easily accommodate large gatherings. The cabin also offers several
storage compartments throughout, as well as a separate freezer to make sure there is always enough
space for all your belongings. Apart from Tiara's legendary attention to luxury, space is another theme
that you'll notice immediately on the 40 Express and the staterooms are no exception. The forward
stateroom is equipped with an island Queen Berth along the midline, with tons of Storeage underneath, twin port and starboard
cedar-lined storage closets, and access to the large master head with stall shower. The mid-cabin is
also fitted with a Double berth and a full 7' of headroom. There is also a small PAR head and vanity
hidden nicely beneath a cushioned seat and several storage compartments overhead.
Following with the theme of space and luxury, the helm and cockpit pick up right where the cabin left
off. Generous cockpit seating facing both forward and aft, as well as custom air and heat vents in the
cockpit, bench style helm seating allow for plenty of on deck quests. Located between the forward and
aft facing bench seats in the cockpit are two electrically assisted tables which rise up out of the deck
when needed and lower back into the deck when not to optimize every inch of space on the 40's deck.
Along with these table controls located on the side of the stbd wet bar there is also a switch that
controls a pair of hydraulically assisted rams that raise the entire center section of the cockpit to
access the engine room. Down the twin transom doors, on the huge swim platform with a built-in
ladder, there is also a large hydraulically assisted trunk built into the transom capable of storing all
your water toys, dive equipment, and even bikes.
Known for her classic styling, sea keeping capabilities and attention to detail this professionally
maintained 40 Express is powered by a pair of Cummins 6CTA 450HP diesels with 1000 original
hours. A solid performer she will cruise at a 23-25 knots and top out at 29 knots. Her solid electronics
